We are committed to reducing our carbon emissions from energy consumption at our sites by 46% by 2030 (vs. 2019). This voluntary approach by Pierre & Vacances is in line with the Paris Agreement to limit global warming to +1.5°C.
We are focusing on priority issues: reducing energy needs, with a first energy sobriety plan launched in the summer of 2022, as well as improving the energy performance of our buildings and equipment, and decarbonising energy by deploying alternatives to fossil fuels.
Transport is the main emitter of holidays with 70%* of holiday emissions. Our teams will always direct you to the best addresses (markets, craftsmen, farms, local activities…) and we will no longer offer you emitting activities (buggies, jet-skis), because we understand their impact on the carbon footprint and biodiversity.
